  • Monitoring and surveillance of the health and morbidity development of the population.
  • Reviews and consultancy for public authorities.
  • Participation in postgraduate education and teaching of public health science and social medicine. 

Research programmes 

The research at NIPH is organized in the research programmes: Child health, Health promotion and prevention, Lifestyle and health, Public health in Denmark, Public health in Greenland and Register-based research.
