The main topic of my PhD-project is alcohol intake among adolescents with a focus on different drinking patterns and school variations. Some of the keywords are:

• How contextual effects within the peer group, school and community influence alcohol consumption among adolescents
• Variations in alcohol consumption across schools and communities
• The influence of cultural norms and individual risk factors on alcohol consumption
• Conceptualization of normal-, excessive- and problematic alcohol consumption

• Adolescent health and risk behavior
• Social inequalities in health
• Social epidemiology
