The main topic of the PhD-project is alcohol intake among adolescents with a focus on the different drinking patterns and school variations in a social epidemiological perspective. Some of the keywords are: 

• How contextual effects within the peer group, school and community influence alcohol consumption among adolescence
• Variations in alcohol consumption across schools and communities 
• The influence of cultural norms and individual risk factors on alcohol consumption 
• Conceptualisation of normal-, excessive- and problematic alcoholconsumption
