PhD project:

The PhD project is about meal habits among children and adolescents with focus on tracking and contextual factors. The first study is a tracking study and we examine whether meal habits in adolescence predicts meal habits in adult life. In the second study we examine how family-setting influence adolescents' breakfast habits. In the third study we investigate using a multilevel study, how the school's structural framework forms children and adolescents lunch habits. The PhD project uses data from three epidemiologic studies.

  • The youth cohort, a longitudinal study of adolescents from 15 years to 27 years.
  • Boost baseline intervention study from an intervention study among seventh grade pupils.
  • The HBSC study 2010, the Danish contribution to the international research project Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) among 5th, 7th and 9 graders.
